About Lisavaird Group
Lisavaird Group is a diversified Irish co-operative based in West Cork, founded in 1925. The group operates across dairy and food production, agriculture, and retail, owning businesses such as Glen Aine Foods, Coolmore Fresh Foods, and JDS Foods. With a workforce of 382 and a 2024 turnover of €218.5 million, Lisavaird focuses on quality production, community support, and sustainable practices, celebrating a century of growth and innovation in 2025.
The Challenge
Lisavaird Group operates multiple businesses across the dairy and food production sector, each with its own ERP system and reporting methods. This fragmented environment made consolidating financial, sales, and purchasing data time-consuming and error-prone. Preparing monthly P&L, cash flow reports, balance sheets, and operational purchasing and sales reports required significant manual effort, and management lacked a single, reliable source of truth to make timely, data-driven decisions.
The Solution
Rubik Technologies designed and implemented a centralised data warehouse to consolidate data from all operating businesses. By pulling data from multiple ERPs using a combination of tailored integration methods, we created a single, unified platform that serves as the authoritative source for all financial and operational reporting.
The data warehouse enables:
-
Consolidated financial reporting including P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet across the group.
-
Centralised purchasing and sales reporting for accurate insights across all businesses.
-
Automation of previously manual tasks, reducing the time required to complete monthly reporting.
By standardising data and integrating it into a single platform, the group can now make faster, more confident decisions and maintain consistency in reporting across all subsidiaries.
The Results
The implementation delivered measurable benefits:
-
Significantly reduced reporting time, freeing finance teams to focus on analysis rather than manual consolidation.
-
Accurate, consolidated financial, sales, and purchasing insights across the group.
-
Single source of truth for decision-making, ensuring consistency and reliability of data.
-
Improved visibility of cash flow, purchasing, and sales performance, supporting better planning and strategic decisions.
The data warehouse has transformed how Lisavaird Group manages its information, enabling more efficient operations, faster reporting cycles, and stronger governance across all its businesses.
